A Day in Barbados .
We had but one short day in Barbados, which is certainly nowhere near enough. We hired a guide and asked for a tour of the island. We wanted to see the typical spots a but, but really wanted to see off the beaten path as well. Our driver first deposited us at Harrison's Cave & Ecopark, where we rode a tram about a mile underground to observe stalagmites and stalagtites.
We went on to view the green monkeys and bread fruit and traveled to Bathsheba Beach Rock and surfers and paddle boarders at the "soup bowl" at Bathsheba.
We then circled around and went to port, which is quite industrial.
