How Long Is My Session?

20 minutes. It is important that you be on time as we have back-to-back clients with no break in between and we cannot extend time.

What Does My Session Include?

$275 includes the session time and 6 lightly-edited digital images with "permission to print" for personal use. Additional images and portrait products are available to purchase.

Who Can Participate?

Sessions include up to 4 children and either parents OR grandparents, for a total of 6 people. Children should be sitting unsupported to participate fully. Infants must be held in arms. We will not have infant props available. Pets are welcome with a handler who will not be participating in the session.

Are Images Edited?

Yes. Images include light editing. Advanced editing such as slimming, head swaps, object removal, etc. are available for an hourly fee of $125.

Where Do Sessions Take Place?

Sessions take place in Northville, MI. For safety and privacy, exact locations are provided upon booking.

How Do We Pay?

You can pay online by clicking the PRE-BOOK NOW button below.

A NON-REFUNDABLE $75 pre-booking fee is due when you select your date and time. You will be invoiced for the remainder of your session in early October. Invoices are due by October 15. Unpaid session slots will be released and the $75 will NOT be refunded if not paid.

If you purchase additional images or portrait product beyond the included 6 digital images, that balance will be due at the time of order following your session.

What Is the Cancellation / Return Policy?

If you cancel or fail to pay after booking your slot, the $75 initial payment is NON-REFUNDABLE. Once you pay the remaining session balance, the full balance paid is NON-REFUNDABLE.

Because we produce custom artwork, once an image is downloaded or a portrait product is paid for, there are NO REFUNDS, RETURNS, EXCHANGES, or RE-EDITS.

What If I Run Late the Day of the Session?

Because we are providing back-to-back sessions, we are unable to extend time. We will photograph for as much time as possible and deliver as many images as we are able to capture in that time.

What Should My Kids Wear?

Please remember we will be outside in November in Michigan, so it will likely be cold. Dress in layers and bundle up!

What Time Should We Arrive?

Please arrive no later than 5 minutes before your session. Sessions are booked back-to-back. Please wait in your car until someone comes for you. Please do not walk to the set before your time as this will distract the previous client. Parking details will be provided shortly before the session.

What If It Rains?

If it rains or snows lightly, we will be outdoors. We can often create beautiful portraits in less than ideal weather. We will be outdoors unless it is colder than 30 degrees.

If it is exceedingly cold or rainy, we will have a pre-planned indoor location. We will inform clients of the location as early as we know we need to make use of it.

Can Kids Change Into Outfits When We Arrive?

No. There will not be time to change at the session location. There will also NOT be nearby bathrooms. Please have children dressed and hair combed prior to the session to keep everyone on track. Children should be dressed in ONE outfit only.

Can Parents / Grandparents Hop In for A Photo?

Of course! We strongly encourage family portraits on Saturday, November 5. Parents may hop in for a brief photo on Sunday, November 6, but most of the time will be spent photographing kids with Santa.

There will be a $25 fee added to any final invoice for the addition of parents / grandparents and / or dogs.

Why Is There A Fee For Family Portraits and Pets?

Family photos and pets require more time and effort to pose, select, and edit. Even with the fee, you will receive a beautiful family portrait at significantly reduced cost compared to what we normally charge.

Can I Photograph or Videotape My Session?

NO cameras or video cameras of any kind are permitted during any part of our work together. We will kindly remind you to put away all phones and devices at the beginning of your session. Please note that failure to comply with this policy may result in the termination of the session without any refund and no additional images beyond that point.

How Long Do Orders Take?

You'll be able to download your digital images immediately after finalizing your online order. Portrait products such as albums, prints, and ornaments will be drop shipped in most cases 2-3 weeks after your order.
