"Mystery is not about traveling to new places
but about looking with new eyes."
- Marcel Proust -
A night by the fire. A bivouac at the forest edge. Take a seat on the log of an ancient oak and let yourself be enveloped by tales told in words and food.
Photography is an evocation of the beauty in the details of our surroundings – be they simple or obscure. I create travel images with the intention of sharing my sense of wonder for the world, guided by an aesthetic of curiosity and the quaint, but also melancholy and the mysterious. I implore pause and take notice of even the most minute and mundane.
Only embers remain as we look out on the fields Yet, the embers aglow and the mist whispers tales of respite.
